Our Roots Run Deep

Hello! My name is Kristi Schrock and I became the owner of Rocky Hill Cabins in 2024. These cabins were originally founded and built by my Uncle and Aunt, John and Arlene (Schrock) Wengerd in 2015. This small 3½ acre plot was part of the original 120 acre Schrock farm that has been in my family for generations.

I’ve lived on the Schrock farm my entire life, and the earliest memories I have of the Schrock’s are of my Grandparents, Ervin and Clara (pictured above). Over the years parcels of the original 120 acres have been sold off and changed, but members of the Schrock family still call this land home. Five generations of Schrocks have lived here and many have been laid to rest in the small family cemetery located behind what was once the original farm house.

This land holds a lot of love and heritage for the Schrock family, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
