A sneak peek at the owners...
John and Arlene are a middle aged, very active, Christian, Mennonite couple. we own a small camper that gets used a few times during the summer, then in the winter it's riding our snow mobiles, if the weather is suitable. We've been to New York once to ride on groomed trails. Nice!! Browsing antique shops (there are lots of them in the local area) is a fun and relaxing time for us as well. We really wish there would be a way to make a living at traveling. But, meanwhile we...
JOHN: Is a self employed local truck driver that does a lot of his own mechanics. He is also a deacon at church. If he finds time he really enjoys golfing with friends but otherwise he just works. John says, "I'm also looking forward to spending more time in Rocky Hill woods clearing more brush and cutting firewood."
ARLENE: Is a homemaker which involves lots of things from looking after the needs of aging parents to church activities and the everyday chores around their home. "My hobbies would be sewing, cooking, creating homemade cards and researching for our next vacation destination."

Over the years we've enjoyed spending time at cabins in places like Hocking Hills in Logan, OH • Grand Canyon, AZ • Jasper, Alberta, Canada • Manitou Springs, CO • Seward and GlenAllen, AK • Great Smoky Mountains, TN • Lake Wedowee, AL and in Pennsylvania with friends, extended family, or on time-out just by ourselves to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday schedules and demands. Every time we'd have this "sneaky itch" to have cabins in our woods where folks are able to come and do exactly what we were enjoying. Mental notes were made at first, then we dared discuss the subject more seriously which eventually turned into notes on paper, praying about it, and doing lots of research.
